    Excel Is Excellent

Excel isn't the enemy — it's where teams think. The problem starts when the spreadsheet stops being a workspace and becomes the system of record. Here's how Navorda gives Excel a proper place in the operating model instead of replacing it.

    Excel Is Excellent

    Excel is where teams think.

And that is exactly why it is still everywhere.

In energy project development, spreadsheets are not used because teams are old-fashioned. They are used because the work is complex.

    • Permits move.
    • Land negotiations change.
    • Milestones slip.
    • Budgets evolve.
    • Risks appear before they are formally reported.

And teams need a flexible place to analyse, compare, prepare, challenge, and explain.

    For that, Excel is excellent.

    The Problem Starts Later

When the spreadsheet used to think becomes the spreadsheet used to govern.

    • Every team has its own file.
    • Every country has its own structure.
    • Every project has its own version.
    • Every update creates another truth.

At that point, Excel is no longer helping the business think. It is forcing the business to remember manually.

    • Which version is current?
    • Who changed the date?
    • Was that assumption approved?
    • Is this delay already reflected in the portfolio view?
    • Is this number still connected to the real project?

Navorda Gives Excel a Proper Role

That is why Navorda does not try to replace Excel. Navorda gives Excel a proper role.

Teams can export and import data using predefined templates, work in a familiar format, and bring that work back into a governed, connected, single source of truth.

Excel remains the place where teams can think. But the business needs a place to remember.
